A brief history of Tășuleasa, from 2000 to our days.
2018
In 2018 we launched the most important national project, with international echo, a 1,400 km long-distance route, Via Transilvanica. In 2018 we launched the first section of road, in Bistrița-Năsăud.
2000
In 2000, when we were looking for a name for our newly found organization, all the options we came up with were already taken. Eventually, we decided to take the name of the mountain that protects us: Tășuleasa.
2004
In 2004, we started planting trees with the help of volunteers.
2007
In 2007, we began the first part of the project Verde 003.
2010
In 2010, we implemented a project named Green Passport, putting in practice a new system of selective waste collection in rural areas.
2011
In 2011, we built the first Pedagogical Forest in our country. The Pedagogical Forest is an educational project meant to teach children and youngsters about the complex ecosystem of a forest and other aspects of an eco-friendly and responsible way of living in sync with nature.
2012
In 2012, we started the European project for the revision of the Management Plan in the Călimani Mountains National Park.
2014
In 2014 we redesigned a historic road that crosses the Călimani Mountains - Via Maria Theresia and we organized a marathon on this route, in order to promote outdoor sports and to encourage tourists to discover the beauty of these places.
2015
In 2015, we became teachers of the first school that held its courses under the starry sky, in the middle of nature - the Mountain Hiking School.
2016
In 2016, we taught children to be grateful for the Christmas presents they receive through another one of our projects, namely The Christmas Truck. We gave them the opportunity to do good in their communities through volunteering. We organized one special day dedicated to this and we named it “Good day - the day of the little volunteers”.
